Pickup / Delivery
Pickup:
When ordering online, you can choose to either pickup your order or have it delivered. For pickup, orders are generally ready in 24 hours. You will receive an email when your order is ready detailing the days and times that are best for pickup (currently, Mon-Sun: 9:00am to 5:30pm). Once you get to the nursery, call us up from your car and we will come out and help load your merchandise. There is no charge for pickup.
Delivery:
If you choose delivery, orders will generally be delivered to your door within 48 hours. There is a charge as specified below. Please note the paragraph “Where will the order be placed?”. Our standard procedure is to walk no more that 30 ft. onto the property and no more than 5 steps horizontally.
Delivery Charges:
When you make an online order, the distance to the delivery location will be automatically calculated (similar to the fastest route calculated by Google maps) and you will be charged one of the following rates:
0-5 miles $15 ($10 if order is over $50)
5-10 miles $25 ($15 if order is over $60)
10-15 miles $35 ($20 if order is over $70)
Fifteen (15) miles is our maximum delivery range for online orders.
For in-store orders, you may discuss deliveries greater than 15 miles with the manager.
*Deliveries scheduled in person will have different rates.*
How long will it take to arrive?
We will do our utmost to deliver within 48 hours. If, for some reason, the delivery will arrive later than this, you will be notified. Deliveries will arrive sometime between 8am and 6pm. We do not accept requests for a specific delivery time.
Where will the order be placed?
Our delivery will be to the first appropriate location on your property. That means off the sidewalk or road and to a place that is relatively secure. If you wish to specify a drop-off spot on your property, the online shopping cart has a "notes" area where you can do so (for example, on the side of the garage, just on the other side of the gate, etc.).
A BIG CAVEAT: We will not take the material more than a few feet horizontally and vertically into your property. Five stairs, vertically, is the limit. As is 30 feet, horizontally. The driver has discretion over going further than this.
