Return Policy

Hard goods (such as soils, mulch, tools, etc.) may be returned for cash or credit up to 6 weeks after purchase if the customer still has the original receipt and if the merchandise is unopened.  If the merchandise is defective it should be returned as soon as possible but no later than 2 weeks after purchase.  If there is no receipt Westbrae management may deem that some amount of store credit is appropriate.

Plants may be returned for cash or credit within 7 days of purchase if the customer still has the original receipt and if the plants have not been exposed to obvious harsh treatment (such as, but not limited to, lack of water or too much sun).    If there is no receipt or if it has been longer than 7 days Westbrae management may deem that some amount of store credit is appropriate.

We believe that even in the slowest growing plants, however, any possible problems inherited with the purchase of the plant will surface within 6 weeks.  After this period, we will not accept any returned plants.  Westbrae Nursery prides itself on providing plants that are in good health.  We take great care in procuring, watering, displaying in the right light, fertilizing, spraying, pruning, and preening our plants.  Once the plant leaves our premises, we can no longer provide these services, and the health of the plant depends largely on the care provided by its new owner.
